Your staff right from the beginning of discussions thru to the demolition and construction were always accommodating and friendly. When ever we had any queries or dramas, they were dealt with quickly and professionally, with options always offered.

Information about the progress of the development was always forwarded and therefore the headaches/surprises were kept to a minimum, which was very much appreciated.

If we are ever in need of a professional outfit like yourselves again, we would not hesitate in contacting yourself to deal with our new project. Once again thankyou so much for the great job.

Dear Chris,

We have now been in our home for some seven months and we would like to advise you that we are delighted. The aesthetics as well as the sheer workability of what is our ultimate retirement home is everything we had hoped for.

We wish to congratulate you and thank you for what turned out to be an enjoyable exercise of designing and building it.

We had quite a specific requirement for this home, which had come from not only a very difficult shaped block in a somewhat heavily regulated area, but also from years of ‘tweaking’ previous homes, a desire to ‘get everything right’ to cater for our particular retirement lifestyle needs. Our design requirements often met with some opposition from architects and the like such as “you shouldn’t do that as it will effect your resale value” and “this is not normally done”. Build West were able to perceive our needs, adapt the design and put it all together into a practical build. We particularly liked the personal attention, with all the staff being familiar with our project, making meetings at your office a pleasure. We never felt like a number or “just another house” but at all times felt your staff were genuinely interested in our ideas and our build.

In particular, thanks to Bianca for her expertise in design vision, project coordination, practical knowledge and patience. The fact that she was our first contact with Build West and followed the project through to the end was great. Also thanks to Sean, for his experienced supervision, eye for detail, pride in quality of workmanship and ability to achieve the practical result of the design.

We have no hesitation in recommending your services to anyone contemplating any building exercise, particularly for individual design and flexibility on constructions.

All queries have been dealt with quickly and professionally.

We were consistently kept informed of the progress of the project, consulted when issues arose and kept abreast of any follow through required. This was an absolute bonus as I was working away a lot of the time during this project and the support you gave Jacqui during these times, when I was not available, was tremendous.

The project has run very smoothly and we are extremely pleased with the entire outcome of our beautiful new home.

Dear Vicki, Chris and Bianca,

We talked to many building companies in Perth about what they could offer us similar to your design, with none of the project builders being capable despite many advertising as being “narrow block specialists”.

Throughout this process, not once did you make any comment about the width of our block, or the slope, or the proximity of the adjacent houses. You took it all in your stride and treated it all very much as business as usual. When it finally came time to sign on the dotted line we realized that there was no one else we wanted to work with – you had stuck with us and we felt that not only was it our dream home but also very much your dream home. Moreover, we very much sensed that we could trust and rely on you to build our home and look after our best interests while we have remained in Sydney.

Our trust and reliance has been well founded. The council approval process went without a hitch and clearly the work that has been completed since is first class. Chris’ site management has been extremely valuable in challenging circumstances.

Vicki, Chris and Bianca, thank you for you help and effort to date. We are absolutely delighted to have you as our builder and are thrilled with the progress so far.

At the time of quotation, we liked the friendly and helpful style that was adopted, and with the help of the computer aided design, we got a good understanding of the extent and cost of the work.

We were pleased that this helpfulness continued throughout the work period. The work itself was carried out in a well managed and orderly fashion, and the budget was carefully adhered to, with increases only for the extra items that we requested.

We also felt that the quality and workmanship, and attention to detail, of the trades was excellent.
